Adam aided in administrative tasks including scheduling rehearsals, composing and sending emails, organizing props and costumes, and supervising high school children aged 13-17. Jesuit’s Philelectic Society is its oldest extracurricular activity and functions in a role similar to that of a drama club.

Adam supervised children aged 8-14 in after-school games of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. He prepared content selected from published Wizards of the Coast adventures and facilitated the groups of 4-6 children in adventures spanning a single day, a week, or even years ongoing (depending on the nature of the group as a week-long camp or weekly meeting)! Adam used this opportunity to instill values in the children including the ability to wait one’s turn, respect others’ decisions, accept consequences for actions, work with peers, understand and follow rules, and express creativity in a collaborative storytelling environment.

From inception to release, Adam worked with Noxcrew to create the Minecraft server MCC Island. He worked with peers frequently 8 or more hours away from his own time zone and maintained reliable communication to collaborate on new features. Adam worked closely with the design, development, and art teams in a role similar to that of Operations Manager. He used programs including Notion, Asana, Figma, Google Workspace, and Machinations as tools to incept and iterate on the server’s progression systems.

Working under talented industry veterans, Adam aided in the creation of single-player content for two of Hearthstone’s expansions: Tombs of Terror and Galakrond’s Awakening. Adam learned an in-house scripting language and used it to implement card ideas for playtesting. He iterated on and offered his own ideas frequently in this process.

Using C# in the Unity game engine, Adam took physical games and converted them to a digital medium. Adam worked with a small team of interns to publish this project to Android and iOS; the project would later be published on Nintendo Switch as well!

Adam worked with professors in teaching RIT's introductory class known as Year One. This class's goal was to acclimate the general populace of the game system where players school by introducing them to other freshmen from different majors and offering advice and information on how best to succeed during their first semester.

RIT's Spectrum Support Program hires past and current members to help neurodiverse students acclimate to college in the week prior to orientation. Adam’s responsibilities included mentoring and instructing students with Autism and Asperger's on how best to succeed in college.
